TuitionCRM is built and run by a solo developer. There are no investors pushing for price hikes — just one person who wants this to be the most useful tool in your week.
Why we built this
My mum has been a maths tutor for more than 10 years. She teaches on her own and used to do everything by hand — timetables in a spreadsheet, counting lessons at the end of each month, typing out invoices and chasing payments on WhatsApp. I built TuitionCRM to take that work off her plate so she could focus on teaching.
If you run your tuition the same way, I hope it saves you as much time as it saves her.
Your plan's price is locked in
The price you sign up at stays the same for everything your plan includes, for as long as you stay. If we ever add new features that cost us extra to run, such as AI tools, they'll be optional — you'll never be forced to pay more for what you already have.
No fees on PayNow
Parents who pay by PayNow or bank transfer pay you directly — the money never touches us and we never take a cut. Only automatic card payments (optional, coming soon) have a small fee.

Frequently asked questions
Do you take a cut of my tuition fees?+
Not when parents pay by PayNow or bank transfer — that's always free, on every plan. The only fee is for automatic card payments (optional, coming soon): 1.5% on Free, 0.75% on Pro or 0.5% on Centre, on top of Stripe's card fee. You can add it to the parent's bill.
Which currency are the prices in?+
Singapore dollars (SGD) in Singapore, and US dollars (USD) everywhere else. You pay in the currency shown when you subscribe.
Can I pay yearly?+
Yes. Pay for a year upfront and get 12 months for the price of 11 — Pro is S$649 a year (US$539) and Centre S$2,739 a year (US$2,189). Your price stays locked in when you renew.
Is the Free plan really free forever?+
Yes. Up to 5 students, no card needed, no time limit. Many part-time tutors never need to upgrade.
Can I use it outside Singapore, or in another currency?+
Yes. Choose your currency (for example RM, A$ or £) in Account settings — prices, invoices, income and emails all use it. PayNow QR codes, the IRAS figures, and the holiday and exam dates are for Singapore.
What happens when I add my 6th student?+
You'll be asked to move to Pro. Nothing is deleted or locked away — your schedule, invoices and notes all stay exactly as they are.
How does the cheap first month work?+
Your first month on Pro or Centre costs just S$15 (or US$12). After that it's the normal monthly price. You can cancel any time before the next month starts.
What if I don't like it?+
Tell us within your first month and we'll refund you in full — no questions, no forms to fill in.
Will you raise the price later?+
Not for the plan you're on. The price you sign up at is locked in for as long as you stay subscribed. If we add new paid extras in future, such as AI tools, you choose whether to add them — your current plan keeps working exactly as it does today, at the same price.
I charge a monthly fee or sell packages, not per lesson. Does that work?+
Yes. For each student choose per lesson, a flat monthly fee, or packages of lessons (counted down automatically). You can also add registration fees, materials, deposits and sibling discounts — Bill everyone works it all out at month-end.
Can I see my lessons in my phone's calendar?+
Yes — subscribe once on your iPhone, Google or Outlook calendar and your lessons appear there, updating by themselves. It's one-way: change lessons in TuitionCRM, not in your phone calendar.
Do you take a percentage of my tuition fees?+
No, never. Parents pay you directly with PayNow. We only charge the flat monthly price.
Can I cancel or switch plans any time?+
Yes. There are no contracts. Upgrade, downgrade or cancel whenever you like — changes apply from your next billing date.
How do parents pay me?+
Every invoice has your own PayNow QR with the amount filled in. Parents scan it in their banking app and the money goes straight to your account.
Do parents need an account or app?+
No. Parents get invoices on WhatsApp and reminders by email — there's nothing for them to install or sign up for.
Does it handle group classes?+
Yes. Put students into a group once and every upcoming lesson follows. Each student is billed at their own rate.
I'm not very good with technology. Will I manage?+
TuitionCRM was built for exactly that. Every screen uses plain words, there's a step-by-step Help page inside the app, and you can message the developer directly if you get stuck.
I keep everything in Excel or Google Sheets. Can I move over?+
Yes. Adding a student takes about a minute. If you have a long list, get in touch and we'll help you get set up.
Can I use it on my phone?+
Yes. It works in your phone's browser and on your computer, and stays in sync between them. Nothing to install.
Is my data safe?+
Your data is stored securely on Cloudflare, passwords are never stored in plain text, and only you can see your students and invoices. We never sell or share your data.
